Stop Smoking

Stop smoking with hypnotherapy

If you are looking at this section, you are obviously fully aware of the terrible impact that smoking has on your health ( and of course wealth ) and are considering whether hypnotherapy could be your way out of this destructive habit.

If you smoke 20 cigarettes a day, you are spending approximately £3000 a year on something that constantly robs you of your health and vitality as well as your finances. Just imagine that you could be £3000 better off ( or more if your habit is greater ) and what you would do with that money. You could literally fly around the world staying at five star hotels.

Some more great news is that your body can recover from smoking. Some effects can be felt within days.

  • 20 minutes : Blood pressure and pulse rate return to normal.

  • 8 hours : Nicotine and carbon monoxide levels in blood reduce by half and oxygen levels return to normal.

  • 24 hours : Carbon monoxide will be eliminated from the body. Lungs start to clear out mucus and other smoking debris.

  • 48 hours : There is no nicotine in the body. Ability to taste and smell is greatly improved.

  • 72 hours : Breathing becomes easier. Bronchial tubes begin to relax and energy levels increase.

  • 2-12 weeks : Your circulation improves.

  • 3-9 months : Coughs, wheezing and breathing problems improve as lung function increases by up to 10%.

  • 5 years : Risk of heart attacks falls to about half compared to a person who is still smoking.

  • 10 years : Risk of lung cancer falls to half that of a smoker. Risk of heart attack falls to the same as someone who has never smoked.

Daniel totally understood what I needed and the hypnosis was a great success. I never thought I would get to a point where I could honestly see myself never smoking again.” Kirsty Lewis

Using  my personalised and targeted approach for stopping smoking with hypnosis, I will assist you in becoming a true non-smoker, not someone who is resisting smoking. Everyone knows someone who has quit smoking but still says they'd like one with a drink or after a meal. What a terrible place that is to be - having to deny yourself something you want all the time.

That's why I use an approach that helps you become a true non-smoker, not someone who has stopped smoking but courageously resists having a cigarette every day.

No longer will you be controlled by the need to smoke: No more planning your day so you can smoke, no more running outside at work or parties, no more worrying about whether you have enough cigarettes left. No more stressing about what smoking is doing to your health.

When you quit smoking with hypnotherapy you overcome the fear of withdrawal - some of my clients have experienced no withdrawal symptoms at all, others have said they were able to cope better than they had in previous attempts, putting withdrawal into a longer term perspective.

I was a smoker for 35 years. I wanted to stop smoking completely but was not great on will power - especially when under stress or having a drink! I thought I would give hypnotherapy a try so I found Daniel online, reviewed his website and liked what I read. A few select words from Daniel and something happened very quickly for me. It was like a switch. To be frank I hardly believed what I was feeling. I left feeling intrigued as to what would happen. Had I really given up? What would happen when I next felt stress or had a drink?  I can report that now, nearly three months later, I am definitely a non smoker and feel very pleased with myself for taking the action to get it sorted. Only wish I had done it sooner.” Mark D.

During the session, I will help you break the connections which are associated with your smoking habit whether they are emotional (such as stress or boredom) or physical (such as with a drink or meal). This means that I focus directly on your individual psychological and behavioural habit, targeting specific patterns relevant to you. Imagine what a great relief it will be to be able to say "no" to tobacco and cigarettes with ease.

Usually, people find that when they receive a hypnosis session they are able to quit right away, whilst others find they take a few more days after the session before they are ready, then they stop. Of course, if you need to come back for a follow up session that's fine.

If Matt Damon, Drew Barrymore, Mark Knopfler, Ben Affleck, Samuel L. Jackson, Winona Ryder, Ashton Kutcher and Charlize Theron quit smoking with hypnotherapy, then so can you.
